Hobart HN-590 is an aluminate-basic agglomerated flux that offers excellent slag detachability and good welding characteristics for single or multiple wire applications, in both DC and AC polarities. It is ideal for general purpose applications, and good mechanical properties can be achieved when the flux is combined with an appropriate wire.
