Introducing Shaila, our newest addition to the ITW family, a social media maven with an Arts and Social Sciences flair. With a deep belief in constant improvement and innovation, she curates captivating content for our followers' delight. Away from screens, you'll find her strolling through bustling cities, uncovering hidden gems and inspiring places.

Sukri is our resident welding expert who has been welding since 1975. He started his career at McDermott as a Welder and worked his way up to Welding Superintendent. At ITW, Sukri is responsible for evaluating new products from our factories as well as visiting customers to assist in welder training and qualification.

Sukri loves welding so much that he named his son Weldy. When he retires, Sukri wants to set up a small shop to fabricate fences and windows for his local community.

Arif joined the welding industry in 2013 after graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently the Technical Sales Manager for Indonesia. Over the years, Arif has built a wealth of knowledge in the offshore yard fabrication, mining MRO and oil and gas industries. In his current role, Arif is focused on helping end users overcome the challenges that they face in their welding operations on a daily basis.

When he is not busy travelling for work, Arif loves spending time with his family, cycling and golfing.

Krishna started welding in 2007 before joining Keppel Shipyard in 2009. During his 10 years in the shipbuilding industry, Krishna worked on multiple FPSO and jack-up rig projects and attained the position of Job Leader. At ITW, Krishna is responsible for conducting welding demos and customer training. Krishna is extremely proud of being a welder and is only interested in delivering the highest quality welds for every job.

In his free time, Krishna enjoys relaxing in front of the TV, playing games as well as hanging out with his friends.

Mason has been in the welding industry since 2008 and joined ITW in 2012. As a Technical Sales Engineer, Mason is a strong believer in adopting a consultative approach in order to achieve long term partnerships with customers. This means that Mason always strives to achieve a deep understanding of the challenges that end users are facing and only recommends relevant solutions that make sense for the customer.

Mason is your typical family man. Nothing makes him happier than spending time with his wife and kids after work.

Paul started his welding career in 1999. Throughout his career, Paul has travelled extensively in Middle East and Asia and gained deep industry and business insights from his travels. In 2014, Paul decided to join ITW as a Regional Sales Manager. In his current role, Paul is responsible for business development activities in South Korea and Japan.

Paul is a firm believer in personal development and is constantly looking to upgrade himself. In 2021, Paul attained his MBA after 2 years of part-time studies. In his free time, Paul loves to hang out with his family, go for long hikes and hit the gym.

Vivek graduated with a degree in Welding Engineering and started his career in the welding industry in 2007. Prior to joining ITW, Vivek worked in the manufacturing and offshore fabrication industries for 5 years. At ITW, Vivek manages the technical department and is responsible for providing prompt technical support to end users. His other responsibilities include new product development and the training of new hires.

Vivek really loves what he does, so even when he’s not working in front of his laptop or on the phone, he will be brushing up his welding skills in the technical center.

Jun is one of the pioneers of ITW Welding Singapore. He joined ITW in 1999 as a Country Manager, before progressing to Regional Manager & Product Manager, and Business Development Manager. In 2017, Jun took on the responsibilities of Sales Director. With more than two decades of extensive experience in the welding industry and a strong and proven track record in SEA, Jun currently leads and mentors the technical sales team to deliver valued-added solutions to customers and channel partners.

Despite the rigors and demands of his role, Jun makes it a point to spend time with his family and take care of them. In the past, Jun enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball.

Anton started his welding career in McDermott in 2001 and joined ITW in 2012. As a Welding Specialist, Anton is responsible for conducting welding demos and training welders. Since joining ITW, Anton has travelled to multiple countries in Asia to support customers in a variety of industries.

When he’s not at work, Anton enjoys mountain biking and playing futsal with his friends.

Dhanu graduated with an engineering degree from a local university and joined ITW in 2017. As a tech nerd, Dhanu is our resident equipment expert and takes pride in his service. In addition, Dhanu is responsible for training service technicians and recommending the optimal welding equipment for specific welding applications.

When he’s not thinking about welding equipment, Dhanu enjoys playing games and reading books.

Jidapa graduated with an engineering degree and joined the welding industry in 2018 as a Sales Engineer, specializing in robotics and welding. Despite her limited prior knowledge of the industry, Jidapa worked hard to acquire new skillsets and gained the trust of distributors, end users and system integrators whom she worked with. In 2021, Jidapa joined ITW as a Technical Sales Engineer. In her current role, she wants to continue to support distributors and end users in the region by understanding their welding challenges and recommending relevant solutions from Miller Electric and Hobart Brothers.

Besides spending a lot of time on improving her welding knowledge, Jidapa also enjoys reading. In 2021, she embarked on a “52 Books in 52 Weeks” challenge and has made good progress thus far. She is also an avid biker and aims to complete the Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur-Singapore road trip in the near future.

Pittro graduated with a degree in Materials Engineering and worked in the oil & gas and power plant industries for 6 years as an Engineer. In 2019, Pittro joined ITW as a Technical Sales Engineer. By combining his previous job experiences and newfound knowledge of the latest welding technology, Pittro believes he can contribute significantly to the welding industry in Indonesia.

In his free time, Pittro enjoys listening to podcasts and reading the latest gadget reviews.

Cheah joined ITW in 2015 as a Financial Controller and the finance and administrative team reports to him. Cheah’s role at ITW goes beyond just financial reporting. He enjoys working closely with the different departments, channel partners and customers to have a deeper understanding of the business sentiment on the ground. This knowledge allows Cheah to make strategic and financial decisions that can add tremendous value to customers.

Outside of work, Cheah enjoys travelling with his family and playing badminton with his friends.

Prior to joining ITW in 2008, Christine was working as a Marketing Specialist. Since joining ITW, Christine has had to wear multiple hats and she is currently our Finance and Sales Administrator. Christine is what some might call an “Office Mom” because she can make everyone feel at home through her simple acts of kindness. Christine is also passionate about providing the highest level of customer service to our channel partners and customers.

As you would’ve guessed, Christine loves spending time with her family after a hard day at work.

Sumit graduated with a degree in Welding Engineering and started his career in 2006 in an offshore fabrication yard. In 2011, Sumit joined ITW as a Welding Engineer and eventually transitioned to a Business Development Manager. For Sumit, it is extremely gratifying for him to watch mega engineering projects come to fruition, especially when ITW’s welding solutions have a part to play in the project’s success.

In his current role, Sumit is spearheading ITW’s operations in South East Asia and South Korea. When he’s not busy with work, Sumit loves trekking, reading, eating street food and spending time with his family and friends.

Apple has a passion for customer service and has been in similar roles throughout her career. She joined ITW in 2008 and is currently our Sales Administrator. Besides processing purchase orders, communicating with our factories and coordinating freight services, Apple is also responsible for ensuring that the office pantry is always stocked with drinks and snacks for our team.

Outside of work, Apple enjoys shopping, travelling and watching movies.

Sherwyn joined ITW in 2013 after graduating with an engineering degree from a local university. He started his career in welding as a Technical Sales Engineer and later as a Marketing Manager at ITW. Sherwyn is passionate about adding value to both internal and external customers and bridging the gap between Engineers and end users.

Since May 2024, Sherwyn has joined our sister company, Orbitalum. Orbitalum is a manufacturer of orbital welding and orbital cutting solutions.

When he’s not at work, Sherwyn will either be at the movies or searching for popular eateries to fulfil his second passion, food.
