Elga P47 is a basic-coated electrode intended for general welding applications where a "7016" type is preferred. Elga P47 has excellent resistance to porosity when welding on primer-coated steel or steel that is contaminated by mill scale and rust. Suitable for shipbuilding, offshore structures, storage tanks and general construction purposes.
